Attorney Sarah O’Brien

Attorney Sarah O’Brien is an estate planning lawyer in Northeast Massachusetts who loves working with clients to incorporate their values and wishes into well-rounded plans to protect their families and legacies. As a former litigator, she knows what happens when clients are in crisis, and her practice is now focused on planning ahead to make a difficult time smoother for her client’s loved ones after they pass.

Sarah was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in November 2016. She was admitted to the Federal Bar for the District of Massachusetts in 2022. Sarah graduated from Gordon College in 2012 with a B.A. in Political Science and then earned her Juris Doctor from William & Mary Law School in 2016. While in law school, Sarah was active in clinical practice, including the Family Law Clinic, Elder Law Clinic, and Veterans Benefits Clinic, and served as an “extern” for the Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia in Williamsburg.

Sarah lives in Northeast Massachusetts with her husband, two sons, and black cat named Hobbes. When she’s not helping clients plan for the future, you’ll find her cultivating her native plant and vegetable gardens, lifting barbells in the gym, or playing and reading with her kids.
